Asociația MUZE este solidară cu SAG-AFTRA
MUZE – Asociația pentru Teatru, Film, Muzică și Dans, reprezentantă pentru artiștii români, susține greva SAG-AFTRA. Aceasta este un simbol pentru apărarea drepturilor artiștilor și o sursă de inspirație pentru noi. În perioada pandemiei, ne-am luptat pentru indemnizarea artiștilor și pentru protejarea statutului artistului român, continuând să impunem standarde corecte de lucru cu artiștii pe care îi reprezentăm, prin negocieri directe cu agențiile, producătorii și utilizatorii.
SAG-AFTRA luptă pentru protejarea artistului și respectarea normelor și a condițiilor de muncă ale acestuia.
În semn de solidaritate, MUZE se alătură acestor proteste printr-o scrisoare de susținere.

As you strive to bring about a positive transformation, know that your efforts do not go unnoticed in our international community and that you can count on our unwavering support during this tumultuous fight. We look up to you as you have inspired us to regulate the industry of performing arts here in Romania.
SAG AFTRA’s fight for actors is evidence that despite the advancements of modern times, we live in a version of the past, where the actor was merely a jester entertaining the wealthy. Sadly, the current situation appears even more disheartening, with actors reduced to being profit sources for billionaires, overlooking their true essence as breathers of art, vulnerable human beings expressing their souls through story.
In these critical times, the call for significant change echoes loudly and it is crucial to make these important changes, especially for the generations yet to come.
Keep up the fight for actors and continue to inspire us – those who look up to you and find ourselves galvanized by your actions. Your firm advocacy motivates us to do more for our own talent who confronts the same hardships as those you tirelessly support.
We hope this letter brings you comfort, knowing that here in Romania, at the MUZE Association, you have our backing, not only morally, but in every way possible. We stand together!
